If you'll be staying at a hotel, you have two best choices of towns in which to stay: Santa Cruz or Los Gatos (hotels for both towns listed below). The ceremony & reception site is approximately 30 minutes driving from Santa Cruz and 20 minutes from Los Gatos.

For those who prefer not to drive, a shuttle will depart from both locations to/from the ceremony. Leslie and Scott's "young" friends are encouraged to stay in Santa Cruz, as that's where we will post party at Hula's Island Bar & Restaurant!

Santa Cruz shuttle will depart from Bay Front Inn (see below) at 3:20. The Los Gatos shuttle will depart from the Garden Inn Hotel at 3:30.

Because it will be Labor Day weekend, hotels in both towns will fill up very quickly. Please, reserve your hotel room AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

IF no rooms are avaialable at the hotel of your choice, then ask if they have any rooms reserved under Ruble, as several of the hotels below have a few such rooms reserved. Any problems, just let us know.

Santa Cruz Hotels

All Santa Cruz hotels below are within 1 to 3 blocks of the beach and the ceremony shuttle's departure site; the Bay Front Inn.

  • Bay Front Inn. This is the primary hotel for SC guests. Ceremony shuttle will depart from and return to this hotel. Two blocks from beach & wharf.
    NOTE: Their online reservation tool may show "no matches", but just call them as they do currently have rooms available.

  • Ramada Inn. Also great location one block from beach.

  • Sea and Sand Inn. Amazing location on cliff top directly above the beach.

  • Edgewater Beach Motel. A motel overlooking the boardwalk and beach.

  • Seaway Inn. A good motel across the street from the beach.

  • Ocean Pacific Lodge. Next door to the Bay Front Inn.

  • Coast Hotel. Recently renamed the "Dream Inn Santa Cruz". Definitely more expensive, but a great hotel literally on the beach. All rooms have ocean view decks. Also a three night minimum.

  • Econo Lodge Boardwalk. No frills, but walking distance to all the other hotels. May be full.



    • Los Gatos Hotels

    Los Gatos is a quaint but chic small town, 30 minutes from Santa Cruz and the beach. It is closer to the airport and will be less busy than Santa Cruz during Labor Day weekend. The Garden Inn Hotel is the primary hotel in Los Gatos.

  • Garden Inn Hotel. This is where the Los Gatos ceremony shuttle will pick up/drop off. Short walking distance to Los Gatos restaurants and shops.

  • Hotel Los Gatos. A luxurious, high end Los Gatos hotel and spa. Also walking distance to restaurants and shops. 3 block from shuttle site.

  • Toll House Hotel. An excellent Los Gatos resort hotel. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Six blocks from shuttle site.

  • Pruneyard Plaza Hotel. A large & very nice Mediterranean style hotel in neighboring Campbell, 7 miles from Los Gatos and shuttle site.
